If the first two tug-of-war contests shown here are ties, which group (frogs or turtles) will win the third contest, or will it also be a draw?
(2 points for correct answer, 3 points for correct explanation)

ANSWER:
The frogs will win the third tug-of-war.
EXPLANATION:
From the 1st tied contest, 2 snails = 3 frogs, that means that in the 2nd tied contest:
3 turtles = 4 snails = 6 frogs

(since 2 snails = 3 frogs).
With this information, we deduced that:
3 turtles = 6 frogs,
2 turtles = 4 frogs, and
1 turtle = 2 frogs.
In the 3rd contest, there are 2 turtles against 5 frogs. The frogs would win this by a rib-bit.
Winners: Gianna (5), Vivian (2), Aiden (2)

I think turtles will win because turtles are stronger.

I think turtles because they are strong and it is heavier.

I think the frogs will win, because it shows that turtles can lift twice the amount frogs can, and since there are more than twice the amount of frogs then turtles, frogs win.

Turtles are stronger than frogs. So the turtles are the winners.

I think the frogs will win. I think the frogs will win because two frogs is equal to one turtle and there are only 2 turtles and there are 5 frogs and that means there are 2 1/2 frogs, so that is why I think frogs will win.
