MONTHLY NEWSLETTERS
Our Class publishes a newsletter, "The Class Times" at the end of each month. The main purpose for our newsletters is to share with parents what we have done throughout the month and announce what's coming up for next month. Most of all, working on the newsletter provides an opportunity for students to express themselves through writing, practicing real-life writing skills as they produce newsletters for classmates, friends, and family to enjoy.
The students are very excited about writing and publishing monthly newsletters, but parental support is needed and appreciated to encourage the children in this very rewarding and on-going class project. The newsletter is for the students but also is a way for parents to see how their children are doing in class by reading the newsletter each month. With parents and students participation both in and out of the classroom, we can look forward to a productive, creative, and enjoyable year together.
A paper newsletter will be sent home at the end of the month. A digital copy will be posted on our website.
