Our Parents-Students-Teacher Conferences continue this week. I want to thank all parents and students who have taken the time to come and talk about current progress, future goals, as well as share any concerns you have. For those parents who cannot come, please know that you can always reach me by email, our class website contact form, Remind texting, phone call, or send a note to school.
Thank you very much for your continuing support.

UNIT 1 TEST REVIEW WEEK
There are only 2 more weeks left of Trimester 1. We will be reviewing and getting ready for Reading and Math assessments throughout this week. I will break up the tests into shorter sessions, so the children don’t have to sit through one long testing period. Please encourage your child to try their best and do well.
Please try not to have the children absent this week and do not schedule appointments during this week that could take them out of the school day.
     Thank you for your support.

THE IMPORTANCE OF ATTENDANCE
There are many good and important things to learn each week. Please make every effort to ensure that your child is not absent, tardy, or leaving early on any school day, especially on review and test days.
Assignments and homework can be made up, but your child will miss the instructions and other building activities that go along with those assignments that help achieve understanding and mastery.
Some kinds of absences are unavoidable but taking students out of school unnecessarily is disruptive for learning. If possible, please schedule medical and other appointments after school.
     Thank you for your support.
