ONLINE GRADEBOOK

     Our Class Gradebook is going online this week. I will introduce it with the students and go over the log-in procedures. They are required to check their grades at least once a week.
     Having a gradebook will not only let parents keep track of progress but more importantly, it will help students to be responsible for their own education. Grades are usually updated each week on Sunday.
     To get to the Gradebook, go to our class website: www.Journey5th.us, click on the A+ icon under “Quick Links” and enter the student information.

​MUSIC SCHEDULE
Strings and Band students will start their music trainings with Ms. Anderson beginning this week. Below is the weekly schedule:

• BAND:
  Tuesday 11:15-11:55, Thursday 1:30-2:10
• STRINGS:
  Tuesday 1:30-2:10, Thursday 11:15-11:55

Please make sure to bring your child brings his/her instrument to class on music days.
     Although I support your child’s musical interests and will try my best not to plan essential subjects during music times, but your child would have to miss some reading, technology, P.E. and work time when they are in music class.
     Please encourage your child to be determined to succeed in music and not let them miss a practice session at home. Thank you!
