Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) Spring testing for 5th Graders begins this week. The students will be tested in Reading Language Arts, Math, and Science.
MAP testing is important because it is an indicator of your child’s progress and what level he/she is at comparing to 5th grade skills. Therefore, it is important for your child not to be absent during MAP testing. Please schedule appointments after the school day if possible. Please encourage your child to do the best they can on these tests and make sure the students get plenty of sleep every night along with a good breakfast each morning. Thank you for your support. CLASS YEARBOOK AND BABY PICTURES During May, the students are working on their last writing project which is to put together the CLASS YEARBOOK! For a section in the Yearbook called “Guess Who?”, we would like to ask parents’ permission for your child to bring a baby picture of themselves to class. I will take a picture of it and return the precious picture right away. If there are digital pictures, please e-mail to me or let your child upload to their Google Drive. Thank you for your support.
