THE COLOR WHEEL

September 6, 2019 - Room B1 5th grade students explored the relationship of colors in creating a color wheel during Art Time. Using tempera paint, they started with the three primary colors: red, blue, yellow. Then they mixed the colors to create secondary colors, and then tertiary colors. The process needs precision and at times messy, but the results are beautifully created wheels in different shades of bright colors.
We really enjoy our art time and this is just the beginning of many more projects to come.
